Job Description

Medline Industries, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Operating Room Product Specialist. The position would call on customers primarily in the Northern California market. This person will provide extensive knowledge and expertise to our sales department and customers regarding Medline’s surgical gown & drape product line, as well as related products for the operating room including suction devices and sterilization wrap. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid education or background in the healthcare industry and a desire to work for a fast-paced, large corporate organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.


The responsibilities of the position include:

  • Creates and conducts sales presentations for the portfolio to multiple decision makers.
  • Calls on health care facilities within assigned territory with Medline sales representatives to expand the sales of the products.
  • Leads all customer product evaluations and implementations.
  • Assists Medline sales reps with questions via email, phone calls or in-person.
  • Follows up with the customers and sales reps when evaluations/implementations are completed.
  • Participates with division on overall product strategy, competitive analyses, research and development requirements as well as other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree. 

Relevant Work Experience

  • At least 3 years sales or related business experience.
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels.


  • Willing to travel at least 75% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
  • Previous experience selling in hospital and/or healthcare industry.
